80 metres from Tregana beach, the GR34 at the foot of the garden. The local stretch of the trail forms part of the Trail du Bout du Monde, regularly ranked among France's finest. To the west, the Pointe Saint-Mathieu and its lighthouse; to the east, the bay of Brest. For walkers and runners, it's a rare starting point.

The Iroise Marine Nature Park from the terrace

Opposite, Fort de Bertheaume on its islet; on the horizon, the Tas de Pois sea stacks off the Crozon peninsula. In the evening, the legendary lighthouses of the Iroise Sea flash one after another — Saint-Mathieu, Ar-Men, the Île de Sein, Tévennec. The view is no postcard, it's a living ecosystem — and it begins right in front of your morning coffee.
